Celebrate Filipino American History Month at Barrio Fest 2023

Get ready to immerse yourself in a cultural extravaganza this weekend as we celebrate Filipino American History Month (FAHM)! We are thrilled to announce the second annual Barrio Fest 2023, taking place on Sat, Sep 30, from 12pm to 5pm at the scenic Veterans Memorial Park, New Bridge Rd & Brey Ln, Bergenfield, NJ 07621.

This event, organized in partnership with the Filipino School of New York & New Jersey and Horizon, is a tribute to the third largest AAPI community in New Jersey. Barrio Fest is not just an event, it's an opportunity to unite New Jersey's Fil-Am community through a shared love of food, music, and performances.

Prepare to be delighted by a host of participating vendors, from AAPI Montclair and Baonanas to Casielle Studio and Filipino Kali Academy, among others. Remember to bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs to comfortably enjoy the performances.

Please note, while the event is open to the public and admission is free, donations are welcomed. However, for the comfort and safety of all attendees, dogs and bikes will not be allowed on the field.
