Join us for a Celebration of LOLO'S SARI-SARI STORE at KUBO LB: Meet the Author and Explore Filipino Culture

We are delighted to welcome Pinay author Sophia N. Lee, who will be present in person to celebrate her book, LOLO'S SARI-SARI STORE. The event will kick off with a warm welcome and author introductions, followed by a reading from the book and a Q&A session. Attendees will also have the opportunity to get their books signed and meet the author.

LOLO'S SARI-SARI STORE is a heartwarming picture book that explores the joy of community, connection, and Filipino culture through the story of a little girl adjusting to a new home with the lessons she learned in her grandfather’s sari-sari store.

KUBO LB is a creative community space dedicated to supporting and educating Filipinx, BIPOC, LGBTQ, and Women-led small businesses. This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community, learn more about Filipino culture, and support a talented local author.
